- Discard perishables from refrigerator
- Turn off and empty icemaker
- Turn off water
- Turn off appropriate breakers
- Empty garbage
- Adjust A/C to 80°F
- Adjust humidifier to away setting
- Cover furniture with dust covers 1
- Check all windows are locked
- Check all exterior doors are locked
- Activate alarm system
